Welcome to Parkway Family Chiropractic! I truly care about each and every person in my practice and it will show the moment you walk through the door. Upon entering my office you will be greeted by me and welcomed as a member of my chiropractic family. I encourage you to print out the new patient paperwork (found on the home page) and fill it out before coming for your first visit.
Consultation
Next you will have an initial consultation with me to discuss your health-related problems or concerns. Your first visit is designed for us to meet so I can learn about your health history and explore your goals for your chiropractic care.
Examination
After your consultation I will perform a complete chiropractic examination. This is a way for me to gather information about the current state of function in your body. I will locate areas that may be at the root of the health problems you are experiencing. The chiropractic examination is non-invasive and painless. It may include evaluating your posture, checking your range of motion, palpation of your spine, as well as neurologic and orthopedic tests.
Care Plan
Following the consultation and examination, we will review the results together and discuss your individualized care plan to help you meet your health goals. In most instances you will receive your first chiropractic adjustment and begin your way to better health.
Maybe you’ve heard about chiropractic care through a friend or did some research online. Maybe you’re just tired of living in pain. If going to the chiropractor is a new experience for you, don’t worry! We’re here to help you shed your pain and get back on your feet. Your first visit to our practice will be about getting to know your chiropractor, and a chance for us to get to know you!
Appointments at our office typically begin with a bit of paperwork, as you no doubt would expect. Your skilled chiropractor will perform a physical examination, and take any necessary x-rays, to learn more about the cause of your pain. We’ll also discuss your current condition and your goals.
We will take a look at the overall results, and, together, come up with a plan of action specifically for you. We will talk about the type of treatment you will be receiving, any preparation necessary before beginning treatment, and when you can expect to see results. We will also discuss any lifestyle changes that may help you with your goals. As your partner in improving your health, your chiropractor will be with you every step of the way during your treatment.
